I would like to visit many different countries, but I don't have enough money to do it!
I'm planning to visit Peru the coming summer. I already save the money to do it, and some of my friends are going with me too. I think will be a nice experience, Peru is a country with lots of historical places and cities that were very important in the colonial time like Lima and Cuzco. One of the things that I want to do there is to eat a Peruvian "tamal", which is made of mashed corn with milk ( one friend who ate one told me that is like a sweet humita").
I'm pretending to reach Arica by plane, and from there jump in to a taxi to Tacna. From there I will take a bus to Arequipa, and then another one to Cuzco. Once in Cuzco I will try to reach my main target: MACHUPICHU!!!Since I was a little girl I wanted to visit Machupichu, I used to imagine myself walking around the ruins, looking at the amazing surroundings (just think on being there in the middle of the Peruvian jungle).
The whole way to get there will be quite an adventure, or at least will be for us, because we don’t want to spend money on the train from Cuzco to Machupichu (apart of expensive we find it quite boring). We are thinking on taking a bus from Cuzco to one Hydroelectric Central, and from there we will walk following the train line until reach"Aguas Calientes", the last town before the ruins. That is our plan, we don't expect problems and we will try to go well equipated (including spray against insects).
I'm sure this is one of the trips that one person have to do before die (at least is what everyone who has been there tell).
